Prevention is the best way to keep you and your oral health in great condition. At your 1st dental visit we will carry out a full dental exam followed by regular appointments.
Your Oral Health Matters
We take your Oral Health very seriously. We routinely screen for decay, cysts, tumours & gum disease. Gum disease is one of the major problems that patients in the UK suffer and with regular brushing and periodontal treatment we can minimise any periodontal disease before its too late.
We always look further than just your teeth, checking the soft tissue of your gums, tongue, lips, face and neck for any signs of oral cancer. Existing restorative work is also checked on a regular basis to make sure that fillings, crowns, veneers & dental Implants are in great condition
Dental Hygiene
We place a huge importance on hygiene appointments. Healthy gums provide the foundation for healthy teeth and increase the chance of successful dental treatment.
Hygiene Appointments are:
- Usually 45 minutes long
- Our friendly hygienists both work gently with a relaxed approach
- They will not only remove plaque and tartar but they will work with the patients teaching them how to maintain healthy teeth and gums
- This can include using a whole host of equipment available to our patient’s as well as the standard tooth brush
